We have been busy with lots of great corporate, church and local community events during March and April. I am always so excited to meet new people and share the idea of a well planned event. The photographs from Victorious Praise Fellowship Community church show how much planning and time went into the theme of the event. The Pastor and his wife, Will & Grace celebrated 11 years of service. The event was planned with great success! The speakers were wonderful and everyone celebrated “sailing into their due season.” Our team was hired to capture the event and take formals of individuals and families!

Senior Portraits – Simple with High Impact
Posted by Anne on October 18, 2008
This weeks “Senior Session” was one of my favorites. The images are simple with a high impact- these days we sometimes get too carried away with the fancy filters and backgrounds and props. This session was so much fun… and I always happy when I meet a young adult that also has a high impact! Good Luck, Mike! We all wish you well!

Sports and More Sports
Posted by Anne on October 3, 2008
Every year U.S. colleges award millions of dollars to more than 150,000 student athletes. And, over 1/3 of NCAA athletes are on athletic Division I & II scholarships or Division III grants and tuition incentive packages
Mel hopes to join the ranks as a college athlete. So, she joined us at the studio to get some “recruitment” photographs. Mel is an athlete that is completing her bio pages for college recruitment. Good luck to her as she invites schools to come and watch her play!

Kwame and Deborah’s Wedding Reception – DANCE – DANCE
Posted by Anne on June 10, 2008
Last night I went to the ADF – American Dance Festival at Duke University (http://www.americandancefestival.org) It was amazing… The ADF is creative laboratory dedicated to nurturing and sustaining modern dance, the ADF is an international magnet for choreographers, dancers, teachers, critics, musicians and scholars, drawing them together to experiment, explore, learn, collaborate and create in a supportive environment. Students and community members interact directly with luminaries in the field, learning first-hand from those who define modern dance. “The world’s greatest dance festival,” (New York Post). If you have a chance check out the website and attend a performance. It will amaze you.
On a personal note dance is something I see almost every week as a wedding and event photographer. My award for best dancing this far this year goes to the guests at Kwame and Deborah’s Wedding Reception! Kwame and Deborah celebrated their wedding reception with people from all Nations! It was a great evening filled with lots of dancing and celebration. It was one the best events I have photographed – everyone was happy and cheering on the new couple as they entered the reception hall. Everyone there was moving, dancing and enjoying life. It was all about the people and community. The introductions of the Bride and Groom was like a parade of people dancing to greet the moment. It was a shared connection of emotion, movement and love. I will always remember this reception as “dancing with Nations”. I did not dance cause I was working, but if anyone from that family invites me to a party – I am going!

If you are looking for great wedding reception dance shots or formal dance studio photographs – give me call… I can help!

NJAA Softball Team – Playing Hard in Black and White
Posted by Anne on June 2, 2008
Saturday morning, I worked with the NJAA Girls Softball team for their team and individual photographs! I had a great time working with the girls. The players sparkled in front of the camera. I let the girls select their own poses so the photographs were not “cookie cutter” pictures. Each girl really seemed to enjoy their session and we had a great game after the pictures!
If your sports team is looking for a “creative” approach to team photographs, give us a call!
